This workshop aims at addressing issues of gender within the context of computing and engineering studies. The following points will be of interest:
- Learning from an example of best practice, Carnegie Mellon University, US
- Offering a networking platform for gender and technology experts within the EU
- Initiating a network of Berlin-Brandenburg universities and universities of applied sciences
- Examining global perspectives and applying them to the European context: What can Europe learn from Asian countries like Pakistan and China as to implementing computing and technology studies which attract and retain men and women alike?

The workshop will take place in Room H2037 in the main buiding of TU Berlin.
