Orientation/How to Arrive
The conference will be held at the Main Building of the Vienna University of Technology (TU Wien), located close to the historic center of Vienna and a few meters away from the Vienna Opera House, the Karl Church and the subway station Karlsplatz. The walking distance to the Stephansdom is 15 minutes only.

How to arrive
From Vienna International Airport
The Vienna International Airport (IATA: VIE, ICAO: LOWW) (German: Flughafen Wien-Schwechat), is located 18 kilometers (11 miles) southeast of Vienna. It is often referred to as Schwechat, the name of the nearby town.

To reach the city center from the airport the following options are available:
Train / Subway:
- to station Wien-Mitte by City Airport Train (CAT) non-stop: approx. 16 min. (one-way ride costs 11 EUR)
- to station Wien-Mitte and station Wien-Nord (Praterstern): S-Bahn (Federal Railway System – ÖBB): approx. 25 min.,then from Wien-Mitte to TU Wien by subway number U4 (one-way ride costs 2.40 EUR)
Bus (Vienna Airport Lines) / Subway:
- to the centre of Vienna (Schwedenplatz/ Morzinplatz) and other destinations in Vienna by Vienna Airport Lines: approx. 25 – 35 min. (one-way ride costs 8 EUR)
- then from Schwedenplatz to TU Wien by subway number U4 (one-way ride costs 2.20 EUR)
Taxi:

The Vienna University of Technology (see map below) can be reached by:
- subway number U1 (red line), U2 (purple line), U4 (green line): station Karlsplatz
- tram number 1, 62: station Resselgasse
- tram number 1, 2, D, 62: station Kärntner Ring/Oper
Vienna's public transport authority is Wiener Linien. A one-way ride costs 2.20 EUR, a 24-hour ticket costs 7.60 EUR, and a weekly ticket costs 16.20 EUR.
