Safety & Health Measures
The ECSS 2021 Committee prioritizes the health and safety of all our participants. For this reason, all national COVID protocols applicable were followed, masks were mandatory during all sessions and an official COVID certificate* was requested at the entrance, during the registration process. Additionally and in order to protect others, we encouraged all participants to take a test at origin, before traveling. Neither the organizers (Informatics Europe and UPM) nor the Technical Secretariat (AIM) accept any responsibility derived from participants getting sick or injured in any manner during any of the activities organized around ECSS 2021.
Should participants require any type of medical support (including COVID tests) while in Madrid, AIM promptly provided contact addresses. Participants found AIM personnel present at the venue and available via email (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.),
* The Covid certificate provides evidence that you had a COVID-19 vaccination, have had and recovered from the disease in the last 180 days, or have tested negative (PCR or RAT).
