The page lists European and international organizations with whom Informatics Europe shares a similar mission and goals, and undertakes joint initiatives and activities within Europe.

- ACM Europe Council. Informatics Europe and ACM Europe Council are closely cooperating together through:
- Establishing joint committees and coalitions: Committee on European Computing Education (CECE), Informatics for All Coalition. ACM Members also actively participate in activities of Informatics Europe, including many of IE Working Groups.
- Preparing and publishing joint reports. The most recent ones are "The Informatics Reference Framework for School", by the Informatics for All Coalition, released in February 2022; “When Computers Decide: Recommendations on Machine-Learned Automated Decision Making” and “Informatics for All: The strategy” issued in 2018; “Informatics Education in Europe: Are We All In The Same Boat?” issued in 2017.
- Co-organizing and promoting joint events. Informatics Europe is permanently on the steering committee of the Conference on Innovation and Technology in Computer Science Education (ITiCSE).
- Prepared by members of the Informatics Europe Working Group on Data Analysis and Reporting, in 2023 the article “Informatics Higher Education in Europe: A Data Portal and Case Study” was published in the Communications of the ACM Journal, recognising our work on this area.
- In 2024, the IE Data Analysis & Reporting Working Group is collaborating with the ACM Europe Council Education Committee (https://europe.acm.org/education-committee) in the analysis of the students' retention rate of European Universities., with the Informatics Europe Higher Education Data, as the primary source of information.
- Each organization is also invited to send an observer to the board meetings of the other.
- CEPIS - The Council of European Professional Informatics Societies. CEPIS, together with Informatics Europe and ACM Europe Council, is a founding member of Informatics for All Coalition.
- ERCIM - European Research Consortium for Informatics and Mathematics. Joint initiatives of ERCIM and Informatics Europe include:

- Organizing co-located events. Since 2015 to 2018, ERCIM fall meetings have been collocated with European Computer Science Summit (ECSS) with the goal of fostering collaboration between the two organizations and strengthening the European Research and Education community;
- Publishing special sessions in ERCIM News Magazine: Women in ICT Research and Education (January 2016); Research Evaluation in Informatics (April 2018).
- Each organization is also invited to send an observer to the board meetings of the other.
- CRA - Computing Research Association. Representing the computing academic and research communities in North America, CRA has a mission and goals similar to those pursued by Informatics Europe across Europe - to strengthen research and education in computing.
- ACDICT - Australian Council of Deans of Information and Communication Technology.
