University of Cambridge joins Informatics Europe
Informatics Europe is happy to welcome the Computer Laboratory, Faculty of Computer Science and Technology of the University of Cambridge, as a new member.
The Computer Laboratory encompasses Computer Science, along with many aspects of Engineering, Technology and Mathematics. It offers undergraduate courses (BA honours degree, Master of Engineering (MEng) degree), Masters courses (MPhil in Advanced Computer Science) and Doctoral courses.
Current research areas include bioinformatics, computer architecture, computer vision, distributed systems, graphics and human-computer interaction, logic and semantics, machine learning, natural language processing, networking and wireless communication, operating systems and virtualization, programming, security, and sustainable computing.
Member representative is Professor Peter Robinson.
