ECSS 2015: Pre-Summit Workshop for Deans and Department Chairs
With the expansion of Informatics and its growing pervasiveness in other disciplines and society in general, Department Chairs and Deans in Informatics face ever-increasing challenges.
In conjunction with the 11th European Computer Science Summit, ECSS 2015, Informatics Europe is organising its traditional Pre-Summit Workshop for Deans, Department Heads and Research Directors to jointly address key and emerging challenges. The workshop is chaired by Mehdi Jazayeri, founding Dean of the Faculty of Informatics, University of Lugano.
The goal of the workshop is to provide
- a practical forum for Deans, Department Chairs, Research Directors - experienced and new - to exchange experiences, proven strategies and best practices
- a unique networking opportunity for strengthening relationships among leaders at European Informatics research institutions
