Cooperation with ERCIMOur President, Lynda Hardman, attended a number of the ERCIM spring meetings, May 25-26, 2016, in Creta to discuss possible areas for collaboration and co-ordination of activities between Informatics Europe and ERCIM.
The first concrete proposal is to present joint awards as of 2017. A task force will now work on a proposal for having the Informatics Europe Minerva Informatics Equality and Best Practices in Education Awards and the ERCIM Cor Baayen Award as joint initiatives of both organisations. As a start, a joint Award Ceremony will be held this year at the ECSS to announce the 2016 winners of the three awards.
